Another successful consortium meeting of the joint project »WaVe« took place on Wednesday, June 14th, 2023 at ITK Engineering GmbH in Rülzheim.
The agenda included updates of recent results in the subprojects, a company presentation including a tour of the ITK labs and the presentation of the first driving (UNIMOG-) demonstrator with a hydrogen-powered combustion engine.
Since the last consortium meeting in December, the following highlights were achieved:
- Running hydrogen engine #2 on test bench of LAF
- Running hydrogen engine #3 on test bench of KST
- Promising burst pressure tests of the developed hydrogen tank demonstrator
- Road approval of the UNIMOG demonstrator
While the first mower tests of the UNIMOG demonstrator are already planned for July, the installation of hydrogen engine #3 in the second demonstrator (tracked vehicle) is planned for October of this year.
