After the joint project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action started on July 01, 2021, the first consortium meeting could finally take place in presence at Mercedes-Benz-Special Trucks on July 20, 2022.
Exciting work results were presented, such as the first firing of the first medium-duty hydrogen engine in June, the procedure in the creation of corresponding safety concepts for commercial vehicles, developments in gas tank technology and the progress in the construction of the first demonstrator.
Furthermore, Dr. Jörg Neugärtner from Wolftank Deutschland GmbH gave an interesting guest lecture on the topic of “efficient refueling systems for rapid refueling with hydrogen”.
